Bulk trash pickup moves to Wednesdays

Starting in November, put large items at the curb by 7 AM on Wednesday mornings.

The county's hauler is moving bulk trash collection from Mondays to Wednesdays. Put items out no earlier than 6 PM on Tuesday. In Buildings A, B and C, use the marked bulk area beside your building's dumpster enclosure.

Bulk pickup takes furniture, mattresses, appliances without refrigerant, and bundled yard waste up to four feet long. Paint, chemicals and electronics go to the Broward County drop-off sites instead.

The updated schedule is in §8.2 of the Rules & Regulations and in the Trash and recycling guide on the website.
